UNDER 12S

This program was developed as an introduction into the sport of gridiron in 2017. It teaches boys and girls aged 9-12 years old the fundamentals of the game and allows players to try different positions and develop basic knowledge in a full contact environment.

UNDER 14s

The start of official competition in our Junior age groups. This program builds upon the fundamentals and concentrates on strengthening a players knowledge in specific positional groups where they are given the time to learn skills in one position and make it their own. Players aged 13 & 14 years with both larger 12 year olds and smaller 15 year olds also able to join depending on skill and experience.

UNDER 18S

This program was developed in 1994, and became a program for young men and women aged 15-17 years old, to play full contact gridiron. This league helps develop the individual skill set of each player in a more position specific training program before they age up into the Senior League. They are currently the minor premiers and QLD state champions for 2025!

WOMENS

This program was initially introduced to the Stingrays in 2012. Quickly building in momentum and in numbers our self dubbed "LadyRays" were a force to be reckoned with, winning multiple championships over the years. During COVID the ladies took a break and have just started to return to the Club in 2024. paving opportunities for women 16 years and older to be involved in full contact.

MENS

This program is one of the most storied programs in the countries history.

Winning 7 straight championships between 2011 and 2017, our Men‘s team have been the longest running team in QLD.

This league opened the door for international player and coaching imports between Australia, UK, CAN & USA.

A few of whom currently play for the Stingrays today. 

Giving the opportunity for our local players to be offered full scholarships to colleges in the USA and Canada as well as the ability to travel to play in the Euro Leagues of Great Britain, Germany, Sweden and many more.
